WWE RETURN UPDATE

By Mike Johnson on 2018-05-23 09:24:00

After having been backstage at Raw several weeks ago in Long Island, WWE star Jason Jordan is slated to be at this Monday's Raw taping in Richmond, Virginia, PWInsider.com has confirmed.

Jordan underwent neck surgery on 2/5, described at the time as "a minimally invasive operation to decompress the nerve," by WWE Medical Director Dr. Joseph Maroon.  WWE removed Jordan from all live events in January, but continued featuring him on WWE TV in non-physical roles despite him being one half of the Raw Tag Team Champions at the time.

That lead to Jordan and Seth Rollins losing the Raw Tag Team championship at the 2018 Royal Rumble in a match that saw Rollins handle all the physical action.

Jordan was written out of Raw storylines in February when his storyline "father" Kurt Angle ordered him to go home until he was medically cleared to compete.  As we reported at the time, that was a case of art imitating life as Jordan had been pulled from all WWE commitments.
