Through the whole Miztourage thing, I watched Axel come out in suits and Bo less dressy. It always struck me that they looked like Face and Murdoch from the A-Team. Given that they made reference to A-Team and not B-Team, was this a coincidence that they are now playing off or was this what they were going for all along and no one picked up on it, so the E hit us over the head with it?
I never noticed that. And if WWE is going for that, and expect people to pick up on a 30 year old reference, they will definitely have to hit people over the head with it.
I’ve watched Booby Roode in NXT and now on the main roster. I very much agree with those that feel he works better as a heel. Recently I went back and watched his entrances from NXT and now with the main roster. The thing that bothers me about him on the main roster is very trivial but I’m wondering if I’m the only one. Why on Earth does Bobby have to skip when he is coming down the aisle? IT MAKES HIM LOOK LIKE A CLOWN.
I agree with you, he was booked much, much better in NXT. Then again, a lot of talents can say that. Roode has so much more to offer. They should not have him dancing with No Way Jose.
What is next for Randy Orton?
Recovery from his recent knee surgery. I guess we will see what WWE has planned for him when he returns.
Could you hazard a guess as to why at Backlash, a Samoa Joe vs Roman Reigns non title match with little or no build was the main event over a WWE title match that had been built up for 4 months?
I talked about this at length on audio. The bottom line is that the company sees the Raw brand as being more important than the Smackdown brand. I wasn’t sure that they would go as far as make Joe-Roman the main event, but when they did I was not shocked. It’s kind of sad really.
Do you think if Samoa Joe should be the one to beat AJ Styles for the WWE championship?
If he would have beaten Roman Reigns I would have. Since he lost, no. That would just make the WWE Title look weak since Joe lost to the guy that couldn’t beat Brock Lesnar. Could they have great matches? Yes. Does Joe deserved to be book better? Without a doubt. If they do have this feud, hopefully they will turn Joe loose and let him show the world what he can do.
