Why would WWE accept a minority ownership stake in the XFL's parent company?

They accepted it because it was free, because WWE wasn't going to utilize the XFL assets themselves and most importantly, both companies are OWNED by Vince McMahon, so it's not like there was going to be any political red tape preventing the two companies from working together.

Any update on Tammy Sytch?

Tammy Sytch remains incarcerated in Carbon County, PA awaiting a May hearing that may result in her being sentenced for violating her parole.  Until that hearing, I don't believe we will hear much in regard to updates on Sytch's case.  She could be facing years in prison.

When speaking of wrestlers receiving a "Wrestlemania Payday" by apearing on the big stage, does that include the Kickoff Show, appearing on the panels, etc., or is it just the proper show itself?

Whatever payday the talents receive is for Wrestlemania, regardless of whether they are on the Kickoff or not.

I was wondering whatever happened to UWF and WWF wrestler Sunny Beach?

Beach, real name Rick Allen, is retired and lives in Florida.  Last I heard, he was running a security firm.

A few months back, there was talk of WWE once again reviving ECW as a product for the WWE Network.  Do you think it's still going to happen?  Should it?

The idea of reviving ECW or doing a ECW-esque product was tied to WWE doing a tiered WWE Network, which thus far has not happened.  I don't think WWE should use the ECW name beyond nostalgia releases (DVDs, Network content, etc.)  I think the time period for that revival has come and gone, especially since the majority of the talent who were the core of the company are long gone from the business or have aged out to where they couldn't be what they were physically in the ring.  Is it possible WWE would do a harder-edged product in the future?  Certainly, but in my mind, using the ECW letters would set it up to fail because nothing can ever surpass the rosy nostalgic memory of what ECW was, at its best, in the 1990s, as we saw with the ECW revival in 2006.
