As PWInsider.com reported several weeks ago in the Elite section, WWE has officially signed Martin Stone, who has performed on WWE NXT as Danny Burch, most recently teaming with Oney Lorcan.
The 36-year old British star had previously been signed to a WWE developmental/NXT, but was released in 2014. He began working NXT TV tapings in 2015 and was used on a consistent basis while also working for a number of different independent events. He was offered his new contract last month.
Stone gave a farewell speech today at the Beyond Wrestling event in New England.
