WHY WWE WOULDN'T DROP PRE-BOUT VIDEO PACKAGES FOR MAJOR EVENTS, PAUL BEARER, JOEY RYAN AND MORE

Thoughts on Joey Ryan and his penis gimmick?

I can't know a guy who's found a niche that allows him to travel the world and make money working full-time as a professional wrestler.  I think the gimmick is obviously over the top and "exposes" the business, but we are also talking about a business where the most respected and most tenured performer is an undead zombie with supernatural powers, so you have to balance it all out.  The gimmick never would have flown in the territory era, but neither would have a lot of things that make money in pro wrestling today.  I look at it like this -even if it's something I don't personally enjoy - If the fans enjoy it and it's making money, it has its place, especially on the independent circuit.   I think if you are an older fan, you won't like it at all but younger fans who just look at wrestling as something there to entertain them, they enjoy the gimmick.

With all the talk of wrestlemania being to long why not drop the 5 minute build up to each match. Yes to Daniel Byrans comeback and the Ronda Rousey match but drop the rest and that's 30 to 45 minutes. If you're watching you know the build up plus its on the pre-show.  Back in the day it was good for the match after a ladder match or something they needed to clean up after.

I see you point, but you have to remember that there is an audience that only watches WrestleMania once a year, just as some people only watch the Super Bowl.  WWE obviously wants to make sure the storylines are spelled out for all viewers, not just the ones that watch all the content they produce.

What was the reasoning behind pairing Brother Love with the Undertaker for his WWE debut?  Also, was Bruce Pritchard ever considered for the role of Paul Bearer before Percy Pringle?

They wanted to give Undertaker someone to speak for him.  Pringle was hired specifically with his role in mind as he was a funeral parlor director in real life.  Prichard was never considered for Paul Bearer.

About the Andre the Giant battle royal, how accurate was it? The documentary made it sound like he was a face for his whole career except for when he turned on Hogan that lead to WM3. During the territorial days as a special attraction, was he a heel or a face?

He certainly worked as a heel overseas, but for the majority of his career he was a babyface for the majority of his run.

Who's winning the Greatest Royal Rumble?

WWE's bank account.
