(SPOILERS) AEROSTAR INJURY UPDATE, RETURN AT LAST NIGHT'S IMPACT TAPING

By Mike Johnson on 2018-04-26 01:49:00

Aerostar was banged up at last night's Impact Wrestling taping in Orlando, Florida when he was too close to the corner when Andrew Everett performed a 450 splash off the top rope.  Everett ended up coming down hard and drilled Aerostar in the mid-section, completely knocking the wind out of him.  We were told it was a scary scene live and the crowd was eerily quiet, realizing something went wrong.  We are told by sources that there was concern Aerostar had broken his ribs initially.  He was down on the mat for a long time as officials checked on him and Taya Valkyrie (who speaks Spanish) translated for him, but Aerostar was finally walked out with the help of others.  The last we had heard, Aerostar had not gone to the hospital to be checked out but was believed to have been OK, although he was said to be extremely sore.

Eddie Kingston returned to Impact during last night's taping, revealed to be the "King" that was referenced in the backstage vignette with LAX on the Redemption PPV.  The storyline appears to be that with Konnan having been "taken out", that sent LAX into a losing streak and Kingston arrives on the scene to help them turn the tide.
