DOES SHANE LOVE VINCE MORE THAN STEPH DOES, CO-BRANDED PPVS, WHY SOME FANS HATE JOHN CENA AND MORE

When and why do you think John Cena became so hated among the fans? Was it because he was Vince's chosen one at the time? Did his gimmick burn out? Did his move-set become complacent? Was he too formulaic? Did the fans feel he was "fake" as a person (not a character)? Did the fans really want to see the Doctor of Thugonomics character back instead of the less edgy Hustle, Loyalty, Respect character?

All of those were factors, for sure.  But I think the biggest issue was that he was pushed down our throats and never really sold for anyone.  He would get attacked in hour one and get all his heat back, and more, by the end of the show.  He would beat the tag champs by himself.  Stuff like that.  Add in that his promos appeal to kids and you have the perfect recipe for the older fans to not like him.

My gut tells me that Reigns' eventual title win over Lesnar was held off from Wrestlemania so that it can happen at the Greatest Royal Rumble. Not sure why this is a huge event, but I'm guessing it has to be financial, cultural, etc. With that said, do you think this title match will close the show, or the Rumble itself? Much like the actual Royal Rumble, I feel like that should close the show because it's the title/theme to that specific show. But if Reigns is potentially winning here, it will be a huge deal since the build for it has been months of him not being able to do it.

I think that the Rumble should close the show.  It’s the biggest one in WWE history and it should be the main event.  Plus, it will probably be two hours long so it seems like once it’s over, the show should be as well.  The show is budgeted for five hours so it’s better to end with the Rumble.

Thanks for providing such a great platform. I appreciate it. I was wondering why WWE is making such a big thing that they have Co branded PPVs again? Wasn’t that the norm in the past before they did this stuff with the single brand PPV. I don’t really get it?

It’s being done to make the PPVs more special.  With both brands contributing, there should be less “filler” and these will seem more like the Big Four.  It’s being done to make the show have more value to WWE Network subscribers.

Is it possible that Styles vs Nakamura at WrestleMania was underwhelming because of the reported injuries that caused AJ to be rested in the weeks before the big show? Could the injury have prevented AJ from performing at his best?

That could definitely have had something to do with it but Styles has seemed fine since Mania.  It was probably just a case of it not working as planned.

So, in the Superstar Shakeup, Big Steph undermines Kurt Angle and signs Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn to RAW. This would be the same Zayn and Owens who have been tormenting her family for the past 9 months with Owens attacking her father. I get that Steph is a heel but this doesn't say much for her sense of family loyalty if she'd willingly overlook this just to mess with Kurt, does it?

You are right on the money.  She chose to bring in the guy who attacked her Dad just to mess with Kurt and maybe Shane.  That is why WWE needs a logic editor!
