THE BELLA-CENA SPLIT ON TOTAL DIVAS, TIME FOR MORE TITLES FOR THE WOMEN, HARDY AS US CHAMP AND MORE

Jeff Hardy comes back from injury and despite his checkered past of substance abuse he is immediately handed the US Title after being arrested for DWI while being 3 times over the limit and being in an accident. Doesn't really send a bad message when any number of other guys could get that title and push (as relevant as the US title is) that does not have the history of issues he does?  I am all for helping those with addiction, but I also don't think he needs to get the title when he still clearly needs help.  Thoughts? Am I being to picky on this?

I get your point but we don’t know that he “still clearly needs help”.  It could have been a one time thing.  People make mistakes.  Now, if it happens again then I will definitely change my view on it.  I don’t like people driving drunk at all since they are putting other people at risk, but this could be a one time thing with him.

When I read about the Cena/Bella breaking up I first thought they will show everything about that on tv, like the next big storyline on total divas. Is it possible they aren’t a couple anymore for a long time and just using that now for the next Total Divas season? I don’t say it was everything faked, it’s just hard to believe anything around the WWE.

If you are an Elite member, you heard me wonder when the relationship first started if it was just being done for TV.  I am ALWAYS leery about things I see on “reality” shows.  They are hardly ever real.  Even the engagement was completely contrived, and Cena tried to con us into believing only a few people knew he was going to do it.  EVERYONE knew he was going to do it.  I don’t know if they were really ever a true couple or not, but when it comes to reality shows, I am always skeptical of what is being presented.

Since Total Divas/Bellas is all about following the personal lives of the women featured on the shows, do you expect them to cover the Cena/Bella breakup and its fallout on one of those shows?

I would be shocked if they didn’t.  If they don’t, it’s a sham!

Is it still a possibility of Progress and WWN content to appear on the WWE Network?  Has there been any movement on that front?

WWE has a relationship with both groups.  They have shown with the Bruce Prichard podcast that they will be open to non-traditional things.  So a chance?  Sure.

By my count Raw has 12 female wrestlers and Smackdown has 13.  Do you think it’s time a secondary championship is created for each brand? Also do you think we will see an all female branded show on TV?

Raw and Smackdown bring in big money for WWE and the women help them do that.  I don’t see any need for a women’s only show.  As for secondary Titles?  I don’t want to see another singles title yet.  If anything, I would rather see a Tag Title first.
