Brian Knobb's Legends of Wrestling ran a live event Saturday 4/21 in Detroit, Michigan at the Fraser Hockeyland Arena, drawing over 3,000 fans, one of the biggest independent crowds of the year.  The promotion teamed with The Beasley Media Group (radio corporation) with Sprint listed as the title sponsor.

Results from the show:

*Brandon Gore & Kal Creed defeated Andrew Anderson & James Tapia.  Anderson is a long-time independent veteran.  The other talents were from the Ken Anderson and Shawn Daivari's wrestling academy in Minneapolis.

*Sting appeared and cut a promo, thanking the audience for their support.

*Ric Flair then appeared, putting over the fans and the legends that would appear.  He namechecked a number of sports teams from the area and thanked Brian Knobbs for putting on the event.

*Airwolf (a masked talent from The ACADEMY in Minneapolis) defeated Impact Wrestling's Rohit Raju (Hakim Zane).

*Ted DiBiase was brought out for a "Million Dollar Challenge" by local DJ Bigg from 105.1 FM.  DiBiase cut a promo saying he is always looking for new young talent in his corporation, just like his former client Steve Austin.  This led to....

*Palmer Cruise defeating James Alexander, with DiBiase awarding him a Million Dollar championship after.

*Jessi Belle Smothers pinned KC Spinellli with a roll-up.  Spinelli worked as a heel. Local DJ Ryan from WCSX welcomed crowd and worked as the ring announcer.

*Aaron Orion pinned Marco Cordova.

*Eric Bischoff came out with his son, former Impact star Garett Bischoff.  Eric explained that his son's birthday was the day before, so he's giving him a present out of tough love, a match with Billy Gunn.  Garett played heel.  Gunn scored the win with the Famouser, but was attacked by the Bischoffs, which brought out Mick Foley.  He gave Eric Mr. Socko.  Gunn and Foley did a promo for the crowd talking about their feud from years ago.  Foley teased giving Gunn the Socko Claw but instead hugged.

*The Brooklyn Brawler pinned Phil Atlas.

*Dakota Darsow (the son of Barry Darsow, who is a police officer in Michigan) defeated Deimos.  Deimos had a manager Dontay Brown and a blonde, muscular valet, which led to Darsow bringing out Ricky Steamboat in his corner.

*The Nasty Boys wth Jimmy Hart defeated Aces and Eights' Wes Brisco and Knux in a hardcore match.  Lots of weapons, trash cans, chairs, broomsticks, etc.   Garett Bischoff, Andrew Anderson, Deimos hit the ring to help Brisco and Knux.  Jimmy Hart runs to the back and returns with Road Warrior Animal and Billy Gunn, who clean house.  The Nasty Boys get the pinfall on Brisco.  The babyface legends do a big sendoff speech with Animal doing "What a Rush"  catchphrase and Knobbs thanksing Detroit.  Show ends with Hart, Nasty Boys, Gunn, Animal in the ring together.

There was a pre-show for about 230-250 VIP fans taking part in photo and autograph sessions as well as Q&A Sessions....WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Hart worked as a backstage producer....Dave Penzer was the emcee and ring announcer....WRIF-FM Screaming Scott appeared at the event....As you might have guessed, lots of radio support for the show locally.
