IS IT TOO SOON TO CO-BRAND PPVS, SHOULD ASUKA HAVE LOSE THE STREAK, BROCK’S STIFF AND MORE

Do you think WWE pulled the trigger too soon on co-branding all of the PPVs? I realize the single-brand events struggled but the overall roster is reaching a level of depth where it feels like there would be more than enough talent and combinations to fill 3-4 cards a year. With all of the titles across the two brands these days, it feels like PPV slots are going to be a precious commodity.

Or they will all become four hours.  I could see that being what they do with the shows.  I completely understand why they are doing it.  They want the PPVs to have as much value as possible to get as many subscribers as possible.  I think it’s a good idea because a lot of stuff that got on the brand only shows was better suited for TV than PPV.

I think it's pretty safe to say that Asuka will win the women's championship at some point, but do you think it was the right call to end her undefeated streak before winning her first championship on the main roster?

Yes, I do.  As I said in the Mania Tip Sheet, the streak becomes an anchor weighing her down after a while.  Talent needs to lose from time to time and the streak made that hard for WWE to book around. Now, it’s out of the way.

Which promotion do you think makes more money-- CZW or EVOLVE?

I have no idea.  I don’t have access to their books so I wouldn’t venture a guess.

Has there been any movement or updates on the criminal investigation of Enzo Amore? Expectedly, he's still been radio silent on social media.

I heard that the case had been dropped and it would not progress.  But, it doesn’t really matter.  WWE let him go because he didn’t tell them about the investigation.  They never found him guilty.  It was a trust issue and frankly, I think they were right.  The incident happened just as he was getting a big push as the Cruiserweight champ.  He should have told them what was going on in my opinion.

Do we know if Brock Lesnar bloodying Roman Reigns at Mania was intentional, a la Brock busting open Randy Orton at SummerSlam 2016? The cameras never seemed to stray from focusing on the bloodshed during the match.

If you mean planned, no it wasn’t.  It was a careless spot by Brock.  The day that WWE has guys legitimately hurting other talents is when they stop being Sports Entertainment.
