WHAT: In anticipation of tonight’s premiere, MLW wrestlers Barrington Hughes and Shane Strickland will join beIN SPORTS’ Kevin Egan on The XTRA to speak about the new season of Major League Wresting, the upcoming excitement and what to expect from upcoming matches.
Barrington, also known as the “Caramel Colossus,” is the first-ever super heavyweight to compete in MLW and holds the record for the quickest match in MLW history, defeating his opponent at MLW: One-Shot in just 8.8 seconds.
Strickland, nicknamed “Swerve,” recently won the MLW World Heavyweight Championship before a sold-out audience in Orlando, Fla., making it the first time the title has changed hands since June 2003.
Viewers can tune-in to “The XTRA” on beIN SPORTS at 7 PM ET (4 PM PT) today, Friday, April 20th.
