All reports are the Justice Department is getting closer to approving the Sinclair Broadcast Group purchase of Tribune Eertainment, which would put ROH TV in more markets than ever before as well as potentially WGN America nationally. ROH has had a plan in mind for WGN if and when that happens and actually used last year's Final Battle PPV as something of a pilot taping for a potential national cable series.
Ring of Honor announced that Cody, Jay Lethal, The Young Bucks, Adam Page, Bully Ray, The Kingdom (Matt Taven &Vinny Marseglia and TK O’Ryan), Punishment Martinez, Kenny King and Shane Taylor would all be working the May UK tour.
The promotion also announced that Rocky Romero would be working several dates of next month's War of the Worlds tour. Jushin Liger, Roppongi 3.0, Tetsuya Naito, Evil, Sanada, Bushi and Hiromu Takahashi are also working the tour.
The next live dates for the promotion will be 4/28 in West Palm Beach, Florida and 4/29 in Lakeland, Florida. Announced for 4/28 is ROH champion Dalton Castle vs. Flip Gordon, Cody vs. Punishment Martinez, Scorpio Sky vs. Jay Lethal, The Kingdom vs. Adam Page & The Young Bucks, ROH Tag Team champions The Briscoes vs. The Motor City Machineguns and more. Lakeland will feature a Bullet Club vs. ROH theme including Page vs. Martinez.
