Add The Great Khali to the list of those scheduled for the Greatest Royal Rumble. Khali was featured in advertising on the WWE website promoting the event streaming next Friday on the WWE Network. It would be his first appearance for the company since the Punjabi Prison match last summer featuring Jinder Mahal vs. Randy Orton.
Interesting to point out that local advertising for the event in the Middle East lists Bobby Lashley as one of the competitors in the Intercontinental championship Ladder Match on 4/27, making that bout a five way instead of a four-way bout. We are working to confirm whether that change is official or perhaps the advertising is outdated or incorrect. Officially announced by WWE is champion Seth Rollins vs. The Miz vs. Samoa Joe vs. Finn Balor. Thanks to Ahmed Elboujadi.
Also added to the event are Shane McMahon, Mark Henry, Breezango, Heath Slater, Rhyno, Zack Ryder, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Randy Orton and Bobby Roode.
The updated lineup for the Greatest Royal Rumble event features:
*50 Man Royal Rumble featuring Daniel Bryan, Braun Strowman, Bray Wyatt, Big Show, Kane, Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle, all three members of The New Day, Elias, Baron Corbin, Apollo, Shelton Benjamin, Sin Cara, Chad Gable, Goldust, Titus O’Neil, Mojo Rawley, Dolph Ziggler and 30 more competitors to be announced.
*Steel Cage Match: WWE Universal champion Brock Lesnar with Paul Heyman vs. Roman Reigns.
*John Cena vs. Triple H.
*WWE champion AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura.
*Ladder Match: WWE Intercontinental champion Seth Rollins vs. The Miz vs. Samoa Joe vs. Finn Balor.
*Casket Match: The Undertaker vs. Rusev
*WWE Smackdown Tag Tean champions The Bludgeon Brothers vs. The Usos.
*For Vacant WWE Raw Tag Team championship: The Bar vs. Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt.
*WWE United States champion Jeff Hardy vs. Jinder Mahal.
*WWE Cruiserweight champion Cedric Alexander vs. Gauntlet Winner to be determined on Tuesday's 205 Live.
