Ring of Honor presented "Masters of the Craft" from Columbus, Ohio yesterday for members of Honorclub, which you can order at www.ROHWrestling.com. Results of the show saw:
*ROH TV champion Silas Young pinned Cheeseburger after some solid action with Cheeseburger scoring several two counts. Bully Ray came out and taunted Cheeseburger, who stood up to him. Bully attacked and chokeslammed him, which brought out Flip Gordon to make the save. Gordon worked over Bully but was cut off and Bully laid them both out to get himself over as a heel after his turn at Supercard of Honor.
*In a Women of Honor bout, WOH champion Sumie Sakai & Tenille Dashwood & Deonna Purrazzo defeated Brandi Rhodes & Madison Rayne & Jenny Rose OK match.
*The Young Bucks & Hangman Page & Flip Gordon defeated ROH Six Man Tag Team champions Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky and Shane Taylor in a good match with a lot of big spots.
*ROH Tag Team champions The Briscoes quickly defeated Matt Fitchett and Davey Vega. Just a match to spotlight the champs.
*Jay Lethal defeated Jonathan Gresham in an excellent, well built match that went about 22 minutes with some nice back and forth wrestling and submissions. Gresham had Lethal trapped in an Octopus but Lethal was able to transition Gresham, in the hold, into a pinning predicament for the win. They set up a third bout between the two for down the line. This was the best thing on the show from a pure wrestling standpoint.
*Matt Taven defeated Cody Rhodes in a First Blood Match when Cody busted his hand open hitting one of the Six Man Tag Team title belts while trying to strike Taven. He then began pounding Taven and busted him open but the referee ruled Rhodes was bleeding first.
*In a Defy or Deny bout, Marty Scurll defeated ROH champion Dalton Castle, Punishment Martinez, and The Beer City Bruiser, becoming the top contender to the ROH title yet again.
Overall, a good show worth checking out.
