DANA WHITE SPOILING WRESTLEMANIA, WHAT’S BEST FOR BROCK LESNAR, STING’S LOSS TO HHH AND MORE

If Dana White was serious when he said that Brock Lesnar was returning to UFC last week, does that make him a real jerk?

If White was serious about Lesnar and made that statement when he did, he isn’t a friend of WWE, that’s for sure.  Whether that makes him a jerk, well I can’t say.  What I can say is that if I were Vince McMahon, if White was serious when he made that statement and wasn’t just adding intrigue to WrestleMania, I would definitely owe him a receipt down the line.  Then again, if White was serious maybe he feels he owes Vince one for taking Brock from him.

Also, isn’t it karma that he then had to deal with Conor McGregor’s meltdown?

If White purposely exposed the finish to tonight Brock Lesnar-Roman Reigns match, yes I think that incident would qualify as karma.

If Brock Lesnar does return to the UFC, the issue remains that he will not be able to compete for almost a year due to a suspension for PED's incurred after his last UFC fight against Mark Hunt.  The UFC's drug testing program does not allow for any "special treatment" or "exemptions" like what Lesnar's current WWE deal allows.  Given the fact that it will be some time before he is able to compete, as well as the chance that he may get caught again for using PEDs and the ramifications of what that may bring (not saying it will happen, but there is the possibility), do you still think Lesnar's best move is to go back to the UFC?

Last question first, if he wants to fight again then yes, it’s his best move because he is 40 years old and fighting is a young man’s game.  He could use the suspension time to train and fight again once that time is up.  He’s not in fight shape now, so the suspension isn’t a big issue.  At his age, it’s probably a good thing that he gets extra time to train.  As for the potential pitfalls, it’s on him to be totally aware of what he puts in his body.  As for what’s best for him in the long run, my take is that he has gotten stale in WWE.  He shouldn’t be in the Title picture.  If he goes to UFC and does well for a few years, he could always return as a WWE special event player, and make a significant sum to do so.

I know a lot of people were upset 3 years ago when Sting lost to Triple H at Wrestlemania 31. While I was enraged watching the pin too, I could have sworn I read shortly after the PPV that Sting insisted on losing the match because he thought it was going to be his last. Can you confirm this? I can’t believe Vince/HHH could really have truly wanted to go in that direction unless Sting insisted.

I have never, ever heard that.  I do know that Sting has stated publicly that he agreed to the finish and that to him, it was about working the match, not the finish to him.

Likelihood of a Shane O’Mac or Daniel Bryan heel turn this Sunday?

I wouldn’t turn either since it would make no sense given the beatdown both took at the hands of Sami and KO.  But this is WWE.  I could see a turn happening.  If it’s Bryan, it would be a huge mistake.

Likelihood of a Roman Reigns heel turn this Sunday?

Minimal and they shouldn’t even consider it.  All of the fans that boo him now would cheer just to spite him.
