What independent promotions would you most like to see get on a cable network that has never carried wrestling before?

That's an interesting question.  I should point out that I am happy with any promotion getting on TV, as long as it helps them financially.  If I was going to pair indy promotions with cable networks, I would go with SHIMMER on Lifetime, since SHIMMER, as the original women's promotion to present wrestling as a serious product, would fit there.  I have long felt that CHIKARA would be amazing on a Nickelodeon timeslot, specifically promoted to younger children.  I am shocked that Viceland hasn't tried to line up some pro wrestling programming, given their counter-culture status and a promotion like AAW or even CZW would do well there, at least in terms of fitting in with their image.

I don't mean to be curt when I write this, but does his open heart surgery mean Vader's in-ring career is over?

I think that's an understatement.  He shouldn't ever be in the ring again.

I know this is going back a few years, but do you really think Mickey Rourke doing Wrestlemania ended up costing him the Oscar for Best Actor?

I think it's possible it was a factor.  There was a lot of buzz for Rourke's portrayal of Randy the Ram but once he let it slip that he wanted to fight Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 25, there was a turn in how the Hollywood community perceived his performance.  I don't think it was fair and I don't know whether it really cost him the Oscar, but I think it hurt him with some of the Academy voters.

I've noticed there have been a few events that Terry Funk has been booked and then unbooked for.  Is there a story there?

We are told that there has been a family health issue that Funk has been dealing with.  We wish his family the best.

If you had to book a dream match for next year's Wrestlemania, what would it be?

Samoa Joe vs. CM Punk.

Who do you think is the most overdue WWE Hall of Fame induction?

There are a lot, especially given the wide variety of names who were huge stars in the past for WWE, but politics and the fact that former talents have an outstanding lawsuit against WWE prevents certain names from being honored.  Chyna and Owen Hart should be, but probably won't for some time.  Ivan Koloff is one that really bothers me, as they had a chance to induct him and chose not to do it. and now sadly, he isn't here to enjoy the moment.  I think it's silly not to honor King Kong Bundy and Brutus Beefcake.  In terms of tag teams, Demolition and the British Bulldogs should be honored
