WRESTLEMANIA UPDATES, WE ARE HEADING BACK TO THE HARDY COMPOUND, GET WELL RENEE AND MORE WWE NEWS

Renee Young noted on Twitter that she missed Raw and would miss Smackdown due to illness, but would be at the WWE Fastlane PPV this Sunday.  We wish her a speedy recovery.

WWE continued the build to Wrestlemania last night with WWE Intercontinental champion The Miz vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor announced officially.  Last week at Raw, the word making the rounds was that other talents may be involved in that match as well, so we'll see if it remains a Triple Threat match.

It was also very clear, after the excellent backstage segment with Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax, that the storyline for the Raw Women's championship will head in that direction for a Wrestlemania showdown, which explains why Mickie James is suddenly Bliss' second again - to help run interference against Nia.  While the Raw storyline has been building towards Asuka challenging Bliss, WWE's online articles continue to mention from time to time that Asuka has not "officially' announced what title belt she will be challenging for at Wrestlemania, certainly leaving the door open to Asuka still challenging Charlotte for the Smackdown championship.

After Ronda Rousey's Wrestlemania in-ring debut teaming with Kurt Angle vs. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon was officially announced, Rousey tweeted the following:

The word backstage at Raw was that the current plan for the Bar is to face a team "not currently a team" at Wrestlemania 34.  No idea who that might be yet.

We are, however, heading back to the Hardy Compound.  Matt Hardy made it clear he would be facing Bray Wyatt in the "Ultimate Deletion" and that it would take place at the compound in Cameron, NC.  We are told that this will likely take place before Wrestlemania 34, not as part of that PPV.   It would make for a great Raw segment, obviously, as the segments from the compound on Impact Wrestling were all home runs and very entertaining.  Break out your dilapidated boats, folks!
