It was announced today that Dwayne Johnson's Rampage will be released theatrically a week earlier than originally planned on Friday 4/13. The move was made in response to Marvel Studios moving the Avengers: Infinity War up a week to a 4/27 theatrical release.
Rampage is based on the classic 1980s Midway Games arcade game that saw players control humans who were turned into monstrous giant lizards, gorillas and wolves, obviously homages to Godzilla, King Kong and the Wolf Man, respectively.
