WWE MAIN EVENT REPORT: CRUISERWEIGHT MATCH, THE ROAD TO 200 LOSES CONTINUES?, AND MORE

We are in Anaheim, California and your announcers are Vic Joseph and Nigel McGuinness.

Match Number One:  Akira Tozawa versus Ariya Daivari

They start off with a Greco Roman knuckle lock but Daivari with a kick.  Tozawa with chops and then he gets Daivari to flinch so Tozawa connects with a jab.  Tozawa with kicks in the corner.  Daivari goes for a sunset flip but Tozawa rolls through and kicks Daivari followed by a back senton for a near fall.
Daivari with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot.  Tozawa goes to the turnbuckles but Daivari pulls Tozawa off and Tozawa hits his head on the turnbuckles.  Daivari with a neck breaker for a near fall.   Daivari with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall.  Tozawa with a lateral press for a near fall.  Daivari with kicks and punches to Tozawa and then the referee warns him.

Daivari with punches in the corner but Tozawa punches back and takes control in the corner.  Daivari sends Tozawa into the turnbuckles and hits a reverse DDT for a near fall.  Daivari with a seated abdominal stretch and chin lock.  Tozawa with elbows but Daivari with a forearm.  Tozawa with a rana and a Shining Wizard.  Tozawa goes up top but Daivari rolls to the floor.  Tozawa goes to the mat and hits a suicide dive and then he hits a missile drop kick when they get back into the ring and Tozawa gets a near fall.  Tozawa misses a round kick but Daivari does not miss with a super kick.  Daivari goes up top and hits the frog splash but Tozawa kicks out.  Tozawa avoids the hammer lock clothesline and gets a near fall with a rollup.  Tozawa with a round kick to the head and then he goes up top for the back senton and the three count.
Winner:  Akira Tozawa

Match Number Two:  Goldust versus Curt Hawkins

They lock up and Goldust with a wrist lock but Hawkins with a reversal.  Goldust with a reversal into a side head lock.  Hawkins with a side head lock of his own.  Goldust with a top wrist lock into a head lock and Hawkins gets to the ropes and forces the break.  Hawkins turns his back to Goldust and Goldust gives him an attaboy slap to the rear end.  Hawkins wants a disqualification for that move.

Goldust stops short on a leap frog and he tells Curt that he is winded.  Goldust gasps in Hawkins face and Hawkins misses a clothesline.  Goldust with a reverse atomic drop and punch.  Hawkins wants Goldust to stop and then Hawkins lays down in the center of the ring.  Goldust refuses to cover Hawkins but he asks the fans and he decides to do it.  Unfortunately, it was a trap and Hawkins with an inside cradle for a near fall.  Hawkins goes to the floor and connects with a thumb to the eye.

Hawkins with a clothesline and we go to commercial.

We are back and Hawkins with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall.  Hawkins taunts Goldust and Goldust with punches.  Hawkins with a punch and then Goldust drops down and hits an uppercut.  Goldust hits the Golden Cross for the three count.

Winner:  Goldust
