HATING WHAT WWE DID WITH JOHN CENA LAST WEEK, WOMEN CLOSING OUT THE RUMBLE, WHAT WOULD MAKE BROCK LESNAR MORE VALUABLE TO WWE AND MORE

By Dave Scherer on 2018-03-05 10:00:00

Ric Flair is famous for his expensive robes, which I assume he paid a hefty sum for.  Nowadays, do wrestlers who work for WWE who wear similarly elaborate robes, such as Charlotte and Bobby Roode, still have to pay for them out of their own pocket, or does WWE foot the bill?
Generally, WWE will pay the bill for costuming.  If someone wants something above and beyond what WWE wants, or thinks is appropriate for their gimmick, a talent can pay for it themselves and hope WWE will approve it being added.

If Ronda Rousey was not involved in the Royal Rumble show, do you think the women's rumble match would still have gone on last?

Absolutely.  It was a historic match and I loved that it went on last.  I would have put it in that position whether Ronda was there or not.

One would they book AJ and Nakamura a three way with Cena?  Kind of like what they did with Benoit , H and Shawn?  I was surprised that they didn't toss him in with Ronda as a team at Mania to get the rub.  Makes met think they do have some plan for John.

I am still hoping that Undertaker is Cena’s opponent.  I can’t adequately put into words how much I hated what they did on Smackdown last week.  Cena is losing to everyone on Raw, so he takes his ball, goes in the backdoor at Smackdown to get a match, then beats the Champion and lays out the other top guys in the match.  I hated it.  It made Smackdown look like the inferior brand.  Cena is losing a lot on Raw, but he goes to Tuesday and is Superman again.  Ugh.  If Cena is in the WWE Title picture at Mania, I will hate that too.

Dana White is making it sound like Brock is headed back the UFC after Mania, do you think this is Brock's last run in WWE?  I know never say never, but he is 40 and probably wouldn't be back in WWE til he is 42, 43 and more than likely will have more losses on his MMA record.  Would that break the aura of his character?

I think in a lot of ways, the aura is already broken.  Brock has been a WWE guy for what, six years now?  He IS WWE right now.  If anything, I think him leaving, going to UFC and winning some fights would actually make him more valuable to WWE down the road than he is now.

26 February RAW, the day after Elimination Chamber - Was Brock Lesnar supposed to be on the show?  Did he bail out?  Do you think that Roman Reigns' (very different and good if you ask me) in-ring promo was a work or a shoot at Lesnar for not being there?

Brock did NOT NO SHOW!  It was all an angle and it got a lot of smart fans to believe it was real.  I love when that happens because it’s the reason many people love wrestling in the first place!
