Last night on Raw, Kurt Angle acknowledged the legitimate neck surgery his storyline son, Jason Jordan, underwent last week, announcing Jordan would "not be cleared" in time for Wrestlemania 34.
Jordan neck surgery on 2/5, described as a "a minimally invasive operation to decompress the nerve," according to WWE Medical Director Dr. Joseph Maroon.
WWE had removed Jordan from all live events in January, but he was still featured on WWE TV in non-physical roles, leading to Jordan and Seth Rollins losing the Raw Tag Team championship at the 2018 Royal Rumble in a match that saw Rollins handle all the physical action.
Jordan had been written out of Raw storylines last week when his "father" Kurt Angle ordered him to go home until he was medically cleared to compete. As we reported at the time, that was a case of art imitating life as Jordan had been pulled from all WWE commitments.
