By Mike Johnson on 2018-02-12 12:28:00

WWE officially revealed that Lisa "Ivory" Moretti would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2018 this afternoon after an article by ESPN "officially" revealed the induction.  The induction had been expected and had been mentioned here previously on PWInsider.com.

Moretti, 56, was one of the original class of women trained by Mando Guerrero to take part in the original incarnation of The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, where she portrayed babyface Tina Ferrari.  She later appeared in David McLane's first attempt to reincarnate GLOW, POWW (Powerful Women of Wrestling) as well as a the short-lived LPWA, both as Nina Ferrari.

Moretti was brought into WWF during the Attitude Era, originally as a second to D'Lo Brown and Mark Henry before shifting into a regular wrestling role.  She held the WWF Women's championship several times and worked as an announcer and trainer for the company as well.

It's a well deserved induction.
