A new promotion, Create or Die, will be running Daro's Extreme Fitness (1123 Close Avenue) on Friday 2/23 at 9 PM in the Bronx with Da Hit Squad vs. LAX, EC Negro vs. Teddy Hart and Homicide vs. TJ Marconi, Brandon Watts vs. The Caveman and more scheduled. Tickets will be available at the door.
Saturday 2/24 will be the biggest event of the New York Wrestling Connection in Deer Park, Long Island at the NYWC Sportatorium, the Psycho Circus. Set for the event is The Awakening vs. The Extricated in the Psycho Circus match, NYWC champion Bull James vs. Alex Reynolds, NYWC Tag Team champions The Benson Brothers vs. The Punk Relics, NYWC FUSION champion Johnny Radke vs. Blake Morris, Brandon Watts vs. Randy Summers in a grudge match between the former members of Milk Chocolate and a Joker's Wild Battle Royal. ACH defeated Rey Fenix to win the AAW title after a brainbuster in what was said to have been an awesome match at the 2/3 AAW event in LaSalle, Illinois last weekend. On the same show, Penta 0M had what was said to have been a great brawl with Eddie Kingston. The promotion's 2/17 return to Chicago, headlined by Sami Callihan vs. Tetsuya Naito is already sold out.
James Storm, Doug Williams, Terri Runnels, Bram, Shannon Moore, Robbie E and Joe Legend will be appearing this weekend for WAW in Norwich, England for events tomorrow and Saturday. Both events will stream live on The Fite App, which you can download at this link.
Combat Zone Wrestling will be inducting ring announcer Larry Legend into the company's Hall of Fame at their 19th Anniversary event this Saturday in Sewell, NJ. The event will be headlined by Rickey Shane Page & Fenix & Penta 0M vs. Sami Callihan & OVE.
EVOLVE will hold its 100th event on Friday 2/17 in Queens, NY featuring EVOLVE champion Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Austin Theory with Priscilla Kelly, WWN champion Keith Lee vs. AR Fox, EVOLVE Tag Team champions Chris Dickinson & Jaka vs. The End, Matt Riddle vs. James Drake, Tracy Williams with Stokely Hathaway vs. Anthony Henry, Fred Yehi vs. Dom Garrini and a three-way with Darby Allin vs. Jason Kincaid vs. Jarek 1:20 with Candy Cartwright scheduled. The promotion is returning to Queens on 3/10 as part of a double header with sister promotion SHINE, which will run NYC for the first time.
