SERENA DEEB'S NEW WWE ROLE REVEALED

By Mike Johnson on 2018-02-08 12:13:00

In an interview posted today on the WWE website, it was announced that former WWE star Serena Deeb has been hired by the company as a Coach for the female talents at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Deeb noted in the interview that she would be working alongside Sara Amato with the eventual goal of teaching her own class to developmental talents at the PC.  Deeb stated the actual original interest from the company in her as a Coach was well before the Mae Young Classic and this past fall, she was given a tryout as a Guest Coach and given the offer shortly thereafter.

"I’m very excited, so absolutely. But there’s a little bit of pressure," Deeb told WWE's website.  "Sara Amato and Sarah Stock are some pretty big shoes to come in and step beside. What is beautiful about the whole thing is that we all have a history with each other, both personally and professionally. We’ve known each other for a long time and been around a lot of the same locker rooms and companies. There’s a lot of crossovers in our opinions but also a unique approach to each individual coach. It will be a really wonderful thing to have us all come together and contributing."

PWInsider.com had initially broken that there was company interest in bringing Deeb back into the company.
