According to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne, Ronda Rousey was brought to Miami via a private charter plane from Colombia, where she was filming a movie on Saturday and then traveled to Philly (I am guessing on the WWE jet) and was hidden until right before she walked out on stage at the Royal Rumble last night. As we reported this morning, inside the company, basically no one not named McMahon knew Rousey was walking out.
Shelburne also noted that Rousey has been training secretly at the WWE Performance Center for months, which we've noted previously in the Elite section of PWInsider - that she was training there late at night when no one was in the facility beyond her a select few others.
Rousey has filed a number of trademarks on the term "Rowdy Ronda Rousey" so she, not WWE, will own that name and moniker.
The company acquired permission to use Joan Jett's "Bad Reputation" last night, and if they were smart, they would acquire the rights going forward if they haven't already
