After the APA Poker segment on Raw, New WWE Intercontinental champion The Miz showed up as a surprise at the Manhattan Center, getting a standing ovation.
Miz cut a promo that when he was a kid, he watched Shawn Michaels vs. Marty Jannetty for the IC title. He said that for the last two years, he has fought to make the belt relevant again and promised to win the Royal Rumble and go on to headline Wrestlemania as the IC champion.
The fans erupted and chanted "Thank you Miz."
