The word backstage at yesterday's Impact Wrestling taping in Florida was that the photo of Matt Hardy and Ed Nordholm that Hardy tweeted out was actually taken a week or so ago. I wouldn't be shocked to find out the meeting took place in Toronto when Hardy was in town for a WWE live event there.
There's been speculation that there was a settlement between the two sides (and it's possible there was paperwork signed), but the reality is that Anthem had already thrown in the towel when the decision was made to let all former talents have the rights to their gimmicks, trademarks and copyrights.
The photo was a smart idea to babyface Nordholm to the masses and show that Impact is trying to move forward in a positive manner.
