WWE MAIN EVENT REPORT: BROOKE VERSUS JAMES, TOZAWA VERSUS NESE, AND RECAPS

We are in Miami, Florida and your announcers are Vic Joseph and Nigel McGuinness.

Match Number One:  Mickie James versus Dana Brooke (with Titus O’Neil and Apollo Crews)

They lock up and they go around the ring but Mickie with a take down while holding on to the collar and elbow.  Dana with a wrist lock.  Mickie with an arm drag and she gets a near fall.  Mickie with a hammer lock.  Dana with a side head lock and shoulder tackle.  Dana with a clothesline and she poses.  Dana with a cartwheel splash for a near fall.  Dana with a handspring elbow into the corner for a near fall.

Dana with a reverse chin lock.  Mickie with elbows but Dana with a forearm and Irish whip.  Dana runs into a back elbow and Mickie with a head scissors take down and discus clothesline.  Mickie with a clothesline and flying forearm.  Mickie with a kick but Dana backs Mickie into the corner and connects with shoulders.  Mickie with a head scissors and a tarantula in the ropes.  Mickie trips Dana from the floor and then hits a neck breaker.  Dana rolls to the floor and Titus gives Dana some words of wisdom.  Mickie with a back heel kick followed by a kick to the midsection and forearm.  Dana blocks the DDT and gets Mickie on her shoulders.  Mickie goes for an O’Connor Roll and Dana holds on to the ropes.  Dana with a jackknife cover for the three count.

Winner:  Dana Brooke

We see the end of Asuka’s victory over Alexa Bliss from Raw as well as Becky Lynch’s return to Smackdown.

Match Number Two:  Akira Tozawa versus Tony Nese

They lock up and Nese stops Tozawa to pose.  Tozawa does not appear to be impressed and they lock up.  Tozawa with a waist lock into a side head lock.  Tozawa with a wrist lock and he blocks a punch.  Tozawa with chops and then he gets Nese to flinch so Tozawa punches Nese and then kicks him in the corner.

Nese with a running back elbow and then he kicks Tozawa in the chest.  Nese gets a near fall.  Nese with more kicks to Tozawa.  Nese with a leaping leg drop for a near fall.  Nese continues the attack with a chop and he goes for a sunset flip but Tozawa rolls through and connects with a kick and back senton.  Tozawa goes for a suicide dive but Nese with a kick to the head and he pulls Tozawa to the floor as we go to commercial.

We are back and Nese poses again while Tozawa is down in the corner.  Nese gets a near fall.  Nese with a waist lock but Tozawa gets to his feet.  Nese sets for a suplex but Tozawa with knees to the head to stop him.  Both men go for boots to the chest and both men go down to the mat.  Nese rolls to the apron and Tozawa with a running forearm and then he hits the suicide dive head butt on the floor.  They return to the ring and Tozawa gets a near fall.  Nese gets an inside cradle for a near fall.  Nese with a series of kicks but Tozawa with a forearm to knock Nese down.  Nese goes for a pump handle Michinoku Driver but Tozawa escapes and connects with a round kick.  Tozawa goes up top for the back senton splash and he hits it and gets the three count.

Winner:  Akira Tozawa
