Before Raw went on the air, they taped an episode of WWE Main Event, featuring the following results:
Dana Brooke pinned Mickie James.
Akira Tozawa pinned Tony Nese. This was a good match as the crowd got into Tozawa’s stuff. Nese played to the crowd well and kept them interested.
Daniel Convers from BeerBrosBS.com noted the Nese vs. Tozawa match was "great."
