WWE KICKS OFF 2018 WITH SAMOA JOE VS. ROMAN REIGNS TONIGHT AND MORE NEWS

Happy New Year!

World Wrestling Entertainment will kick off their 2018 tonight with a live Monday Night Raw from Miami, Florida.  Announced for the broadcast is WWE Intercontinental champion Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe in a bout where the title will change hands if Reigns is disqualified as well as WWE Cruiserweight champion Enzo Amore vs. Cedric Alexander.  WWE Universal champoon Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman will also be appearing.   WWE will tape Main Event as well as the continuing road to the Royal Rumble PPV.  If anyone is attending, we are seeking live reports and photos.  You can email me by clicking my name above.

Following Raw, the WWE Network will debut a new series titled "Photo Shoot" featuring The Miz and Cesaro.

Tomorrow, WWE will broadcast a live Smackdown as well as 205 Live in Orlando, Florida at the Amway Center.  Set for the Smackdown broadcast is WWE champion AJ Styles vs. Sami Zayn in a non-title bout, WWE Smackdown Tag Team champions The Usos vs. Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable and a WWE United States championship tournament match with Xavier Woods vs. Aiden English.  Locally advertised for the taping (likely dark matches) are WWE Champion AJ Styles vs. Jinder Mahal in a Street Fight and Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura vs Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

Wednesday's WWE NXT will be a two hour "Best of 2017" episode.

Wednesday's Total Divas on E! will feature the following plot: "Nia confronts Alexa on her sketchy wedding plans and ruins the fun; Lana's physical affection for women pushes Rusev to his limit as a husband; Carmella confronts Lana for messing with her career."

This Thursday 1/4, WWE NXT will tape TV in Atlanta, Georgia at Center Stage.

Former WWE Tough Enough winner Sara Lee wed NXT star Wesley Blake over the weekend.  Our congratulations to the happy couple!

Paul Jordan sent the following....Lilian Garcia has interviews with former WWE Women's Champions Michelle McCool: Candice Michelle, Molly Holly, Victoria, and Gail Kim on her latest "Chasing Glory" podcast with the panel discussing their thoughts on The Women's Royal Rumble match, the current state of the female division in WWE and what they are all doing today.
