RUMBLE SURPRISES, HE HATE ME, NEW JAPAN AND ROH WORKING WITH IMPACT AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2017-12-22 10:00:00

Love the site as always, you guys do fantastic work! With the excitement and anticipation growing for the first women's royal rumble, do you think there will be surprise veteran entrants as we see in the men's royal rumble? If so, who would you like to see most show up?

I do.  In my mind, I'd like to see Madusa (health dependent after her knee replacement), Ivory and Beth Phoenix make appearances.  I also think the idea of having one of the GLOW actors is a great idea.  In our poll about this subject, the one name that a LOT of people have wanted is AJ Lee, although I don't know what is actually a possibility.

Would it indeed be a shock to see former UFC champion Ronda Rousey make a surprise appearance at the WWE Womens Royal Rumble?

I don't know if it would be a shock, but I certainly would think it would be a major moment.  I don't know that using Rousey, who's big finisher is a takedown armbar, in a Rumble would be the best idea for her debut, but it certainly would get mainstream attention.  I would think WWE is going to try and get some mainstream attention with a female athlete in that match.

If Vince McMahon does indeed resuscitate the XFL will we seeing He Hate Me?

WWE has the trademark.  I would think XFL would consider at least bringing him on as an announcer or ambassador, if this thing actually goes forward and launches.

Your site is doing great work.Going on 2018 is there any chance that Impact wrestling can build partnership  with NJPW or ROH or both of them. Now, Don Callis is on board of Impact & is a colour commentator for New Japan.

There is always a chance.  It's pro wrestling.  I don't see ROH wanting to work with Impact, but New Japan and Impact, it's always possible.  Anything is possible.  Goldberg returned to WWE last year. WWE inducted Warrior in the Hall of Fame.  The landscape of wrestling never stops changing.

Whatever happened to Bam Bam Bigelow?

Sadly, the former ECW champion passed away in January 2007.
