Tommy Dreamer's House of Hardcore will be adding its first championship - the HOH Television championship - in 2018. A tournament to crown the first champion will commence at the Friday 1/26/18 House of Hardcore event at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, which is the 2018 Royal Rumble weekend.
The main event for HOH that evening will be NWA champion Nick Aldis & Joey Mercury, with Shane Douglas, vs. Tommy Dreamer and a mystery partner, with another mystery man in their corner. Also advertised for the event are Super Crazy, Brian Cage, Willie Mack, Matt Riddle, Kevin Kross, Swoggle, Lisa Marie Varon, Billy Gunn, Crazy Steve, Eddie Kingston and The Luchasaurus.
Vik Dalishus, who has been working as one of the trainers at the HOH school and had been a fixture on the HOH undercard as a heel suffered a pretty devastating injury working for Northeast Wrestling a few weeks back when coming off the top rope to the floor. Dalishus, real name Rob Begley, suffered severe spiral fracture of his Tibia and a fracture of his Fibula. He's already undergone one surgery and will require additional ones and is pretty much going to be immobile for at least the next six months. Hale Collins, Dalishus' long-time partner and rival in HOH and beyond, has launched a GoFundMe campaign to assist him. The injury is really an unfortunate one as Dalishus had dropped a lot of weight over the last several years and his work had gotten very, very good.

HOH will be running the night before Wrestlemania 34 in New Orleans as part of Wrestlecon, with the live event kicking off an hour after WE NXT Takeover: New Orleans ends. Already announced for the show are Tommy Dreamer, Carlito, Billy Gunn, Willie Mack, Luchasaurus and Kevin Kross.
