HIROSHI TANAHASHI INJURED

New Japan Pro Wrestling issued the folllowing:

Tanahashi suffers injury to right knee; will miss remaining World Tag League tour dates.

Due to an injury suffered to his right knee, New Japan Pro Wrestling has come to the decision to remove Hiroshi Tanahashi from December 7’s Yamaguchi card. Further, Tanahashi will be out of action for the remainder of the World Tag League tour, which ends December 11 in Fukuoka.  

New Japan Pro Wrestling apologizes to fans who were looking forward to seeing Tanahashi perform. 

At the present time, precise details on the condition of Tanahashi’s knee are unknown. Tanahashi is currently undergoing a thorough medical assessment, and when more details become clear, a decision will be made as to his future appearances.
