WWE RUNNING UNITED CENTER IN CHICAGO, HOLIDAY WISHLIST AND MORE WWE NEWS

By Mike Johnson on 2017-11-27 11:48:00

WWE is returning to the United Center in Chicago for the first time in well over a decade on Saturday 3/3.  The date will be officially announced towards the end of the year.   WWE held Summerslam 1994 there when the Arena first opened and ran house shows there for a few years, but has mostly stayed to the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL when running the Chicago market since the mid-1990s.  WCW regularly used the United Center for Monday Nitros back in the 1990s.   Monster Jam has the Allstate Arena booked that entire week in March for monster truck events.

For those who have asked if there's a reason Lio Rush has been out of the ring in NXT, it's exactly what you think it is - the Emma tweet.

Tickets for WWE NXT Takeover: Philadelphia will go on sale this Friday 12/1 with an online pre-sale a few days early via the Wells Fargo Center website.
