Sports Business Journal has an article discussing UFC negotiating with other networks as their deal with Fox is expiring soon and reports WWE has had meetings with Fox executives earlier this summer. They are also talking with Disney, CBS, Amazon, and YouTube. As has been mentioned here on the site, WWE is looking beyond traditional outlets for their next TV deal. Oath, which is the product of the AOL-Yahoo merger, is also another option.
The company held many of the same meanings before their last TV negotiations a few years ago. The piece states that this was a "roadshow" with WWE meeting with other outlets to discuss the power of their programming.
The discussions are preliminary as they are still in the exclusive negotiating window with current partner NBC Universal.
