HOUSE OF HARDCORE RESULTS & NOTES FROM PHILADELPHIA, PA

By Mike Johnson on 2017-11-18 23:46:00

Quick House of Hardcore results from Philadelphia, PA at the 2300 Arena:

Before the show began streaming on Twitch, there was a segment where Tommy Dreamer put over that NWA champion Tim Storm was in the house and challenged for a title shot.  He invited Billy Corgan to come and appear at HOH anytime he wanted.  Nick Aldis came out and said Dreamer was playing politics to try and get a title shot for himself when Aldis is owed a rematch.  The NWA streamed the segment live as a surprise on their Facebook page:

The full results of the HOH show, which streamed live at Twitch.tv/HouseofHardcore, where a replay can currently be watched:

*Bull Dempsey pinned Hot Young Briley.

*MVP pinned Lance Anoai.

*Matt Cross pinned Petey Williams.   Eddie Kingston attacked Williams after the match.

*Ace Romero pinned Vik Dalishus.

*Nick Aldis pinned Billy Gunn after drilling him in the knee with a steel chair.

*Super Crazy and Little Guido Maritato defeated The Spirit Squad.

*The Luchasaurus (making his Philly debut) defeated Willie Mack and the debuting Matt Riddle.

*Austin Aries pinned Alex Reynolds after cutting a long promo.

*Joey Mercury beat Tommy Dreamer in a First Blood Match.  Nick Aldis came out to interfere.  Shane Douglas hit the ring for the save but turned on Dreamer.  The Sandman made his grand entrance to make the save but out of the crowd came Jay and Mark Briscoe who attacked Sandman and Dreamer and left them laying.

Notes: Among those backstage were Dave Lagana, Luke Hawx, Homicide and Jeff Jones.  Hawx and Shane Douglas were speaking for a long time and apparently settled their personal differences, which went back to the Extreme Rising promotion a few years ago....HOH will return to Philadelphia in January....the company's next event is 12/2 in Waukesha, Wisconsin with Tommy Dreamer vs. Abyss in a Hardcore War, Candice Michelle vs. Lisa Marie Varon in Michelle's retirement match, Austin Aries vs. Joey Mercury with Aries wrestling in his hometown for the first time ever, Al Snow & Swoggle (with Dave Herro) vs. The Squad plus MVP, Carlito, Little Guido Maritato and more.
