TEAM RAW GETS AN UPGRADE: CHANGE TO WWE SURVIVOR SERIES MATCH

By Mike Johnson on 2017-11-13 22:26:00

Team Raw at Survivor Series this Sunday just got a huge upgrade as Triple H announced that he would be replacing Jason Jordan on the team.

WWE ran an angle where Bray Wyatt injured Jordan's leg after Jordan scored a surprise win over him.  That led to a concerned Kurt Angle considering pulling Jordan, who whined and begged to his storyline father to not take away his big chance.

Angle later went to the ring to announce he was replacing Jordan, but an empassioned Jordan promo gave Angle pause.  This led to Stephanie McMahon, who had earlier expressed concern about Jordan in the match, demanding that Angle make the announcement of the replacement.

Angle paused, unable to decide, which led to Triple H coming out, announcing that he was now the fifth member of the team and nailed Jordan with a Pedigree.

The match is now Elimination Match: Team Raw Captain Kurt Angle, Finn Balor, Triple H, Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman vs. Team Smackdown Live Captain Shane McMahon, Randy Orton, Bobby Roode, John Cena and Shinsuke Nakamura.

WWE did not address the fact that in his corporate role for the company on camera, Triple H would technically be in charge of both Raw and Smackdown.
