SIGNING LESNAR, NEVILLE, CHANGES TO SURVIVOR SERIES, PETE DUNNE AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2017-11-09 10:00:00

At this point, if it was your decision to make, would you sign Brock Lesnar again once his contract is up? I'm a Brock fan, but I don't know if he has the same value that he might have had before. Ratings don't see any real boost when he appears on RAW and his matches don't quite have the same aura to them they once had. I'm not sure he has the same leverage he had prior to Jon Jones destroying any hope of that super fight so a reduced contract might be worth it, or more dates at the current rate. But I just don't see him being worth it at this point.

Absolutely.  Did you see the response to Brock facing AJ Styles?  Lesnar is one of the few talents with the power to get the audience immediately invested.  I think there is a smarter way to use him, but that's a creative issue, not an issue with Brock himself.  He is worth the investment.

With Owens and Zayn sent home from the euro tour, not jumping to conclusions but there's a chance they could be released or ask for said release. On top of Neville walking out. Nia Jax reported frustrations... is there a point where WWE has to look at the way they do things and wonder if maybe management, not talent, is the issue. I mean, if that many employees, especially Ines that came up through the PC and have had tons of money poured into them, are unhappy working there, should WWE look at themselves? Will they?

Owens and Zayn are not specifically looking to leave.  Nia has a few weeks off due to a back issue.  WWE management is not going to change how they handle things.

Is Neville gone or not?

He is still under contract to WWE, so as long as he is, there is always a chance he will return.

Do you think Pete Dunne will be full-time on Raw going forward?

That was not the plan.  He was used for the UK market.

You reported Cena was the guest referee and now he's wrestling.  What happened?

The same thing that always happens.  Vince McMahon changes his direction.  It happens 100 times over the course of a TV taping day.
