THREE MORE WWE HALL OF FAMERS HEADING TO RAW 25th ANNIVERSARY?

By Mike Johnson on 2017-10-30 20:42:00

Local advertising promoting the on sale this Friday 11/3 for the 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw at the Barclays Center featured clips of WWE Hall of Famers Bret Hart, Ric Flair and Mick Foley while mentioning that talents from the past would be appearing.

Bret Hart was the WWF champion when Raw debuted in January 1993.

Flair headlined the second and third episodes of Monday Night Raw, facing Tito Santana and the late Mr. Perfect in what was a "Loser Leaves Town" match that ended Flair's initial run in the company.

Foley obviously had many major moments over Raw history including the highest rated segment in the company's history, "This is Your Life" with the Rock and captured his first WWF championship on a taped Raw (defeating the Rock) that was knocked by WCW Monday Nitro (which was airing live) leading to a massive surge in the ratings for fans wanting to see the Foley title win.

Previously announced for the 25th Anniversary of Raw have been appearances by The Undertaker (who headlined the first episode vs. Damian Damento), Shawn Michaels (who was the WWF Intercontinental champion and defended that title on the first episode) and Kevin Nash, who debuted for the company on Raw in the summer of 1993, seconding Michaels.
