Is it just me? Last night, when SD invaded Raw, the announcers kept talking about how the "entire SD roster" was there. When it clearly was not! Who do they think they are fooling? Why do they say such things when it is so clear that they are not true?
Thee fact of the matter is that in WWE’s world, the truth is whatever they say it is. Always has been, always will be.
Why is it that whenever Kurt Angle has a confrontation with almost anyone, he always looks confused or timid, or afraid? I just don't get it.
I actually like that, at least to a degree. I don’t want a mostly retired wrestling talking down to a huge monster like Braun Strowman. He should be intimidated. He steps up and gets his spine when he needs to.
Do you think it is possible that WWE could keep RAW on USA, plus maybe Tribute to the Troops and even re-instate a lower tier show schedule (like back in the day with Saturdaymornings or Sunday broadcasts - maybe even adding Main Event or something currently in production to USA) earning a lower priced contract with them and then move SmackDown to a different channel or streaming service, getting a good price for it thus between the two deals coming out the same and/or ahead of where they are now?
Is it possible? Sure, until the new deal is done anything is possible. I would say that the odds are more likely that Raw and Smackdown are sold as a package but sure, it’s possible.
When Kurt Angle got taken to the back during his TLC match, I was dead certain we would see him reappear in his Olympic hero attire. Although the Shield version of Angle was cool, you can tell that the live crowd really wanted the Olympic hero version. I understand that storyline-wise it made zero sense for him to change attire and then return, I for one was more than willing to suspend disbelief in order to see Olympic Kurt make an appearance. Would you have liked to see Olympic hero Kurt make a triumphant return to the match, or given the story of the match, were you fine with him remaining in his Shield gear?
I think it would have been contrived and ridiculous to have a hurt Angle change into that gear. It would have been like a bad cartoon, like he took an Underdog super energy pill. I would have hated that.
I get that Vince likes to do the RAW vs. Smackdown angle at Survivor series, which seems to be turning into a yearly occurence. But why are we, the fans, expected to just accept that the heels and faces are now working together on the same team? For example, why are guys like Ziggler and Roode all of a sudden friends after feuding for the past several months? And why are guys all of a sudden attacking their friends just because they happen to be on the other roster?
Because that is how WWE creative books it. Seriously, they don’t care about logic holes. Hell, they don’t even explain them much of the time. They see the product as they give you what they want you to see.
