The National Wrestling Alliance released an excellent four minute documentary-style video this afternoon titled Ten Pounds of Gold. The first episode of what will be a documentary series looks at the importance of the NWA championship, why it is important to the current champion Tim Storm and the belt's return to broadcast TV as part of Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. It is an excellent piece and completely unique that is worth watching. Storm, who I have seen very little of, came off really well here and they created a nice little piece of hype building the importance of the belt. This is the type of material that Dave Lagana was talking about producing during his interview with PWInsider.com a few weeks back, using the digital stage to begin to create and shape stories around characters:
