In a complete surprise with no foreshadowing, former WWE champion Glen "Kane" Jacobs made a surprise appearance during the main event of Raw, coming from under the ring to attack Roman Reigns and assist Braun Strowman in his steel cage match.
After the match, The Miz announced that Kane (last seen on the Smackdown brand) would be their partner in the five on three TLC match against The Shield.
Kane had taken an extended absence from WWE as he is running for the Mayor of Knox County, TN.
