Dave and Mike, do you both work on this site full time or do you have outside jobs? Tell us about your non wrestling life without getting too personal. It’s always nice to “know” the people that feel like online family.

Mike and I both do this full time.  I have been doing it full time for decades now and I appreciate all of you that have allowed me to do it.  I love spending time with my family, watching my sporting teams, learning every day, exercising and splitting time between my homes in Las Vegas and at the Jersey Shore.  I am a lucky man, and I know it.

Convince me to not stop watching WWE (not that it's your job to).  I can't think of one storyline, feud, or rivalry that interests me right now, besides the rise of Bobby Roode to the top of the card (possibly).  After the Bray Wyatt/Sister Abigail garbage from Raw on 10/10, now I'm also just embarrassed that I'm watching this stuff.  That was awful, and I can't see how anyone thought that it was a good idea or entertaining.  WWE has a bunch of great wrestlers, but I feel mis/under uses almost all of them as well.  I came back to WWE when the network started after leaving post Wrestlemania 20 when Brock left.  Originally the draw of watching the old stuff I loved was worth the $9.99 and it even got me back into the current product. I don't feel it's worth my time anymore and could just stick with ROH and NJPW.  NXT is nice, but I'm burned out on seeing so many flounder after moving on from there and that it's no longer really developing stars just signing them from elsewhere I've already been watching them.   What are you enjoying or looking forward to that I'm missing?  Why should I stick around?

I can’t tell you how many people have said exactly the same thing to me that you have.  Obviously, you make a great case for leaving again.  I have nothing I can say to convince you otherwise as you made your case perfectly.  I have said for years now that WWE can be both PG and cater to older fans, much like shows such as The Simpsons have done.  But Vince McMahon refuses to listen to those people and continues to book the product the way he likes it.  A lot of people in the company would love to see them do what you said, believe me.

As usual, I'll start by thanking you for all the amazing work and all the great content on your site. Checking PWinsider is part of my daily routine now and it has been for nearly a decade. I would have one question concerning 'heat'. In recent weeks/months, it was said that Enzo Amore and Baron Corbin had a massive amount of heat over them. Yet, Enzo has been the main event of RAW 3 weeks in a row, and has even gotten the Cruiserweight championship, even if it was only for a couple of weeks, and Baron Corbin has had decent matches with the likes of AJ Styles (one of the best the WWE has to offer right now) and the underappreciated Tye Dillinger, and won the US championship. I then remembered also that Miz had a huge amount of heat at some point and was banned from the locker room, and then ended up main eventing Wrestlemania with Cena, and winning it. To go further back, Triple H was to be punished after the 'curtain call' thing, and ended up the top star and WWE Champion for the better part of a decade. So, is 'getting heat' the easier way to get a push, in the end?

In the case of Enzo, being moved to 205 Live isn’t a positive.  All talents would prefer to be on the main roster.  And being in the main event of Raw this time of year, against first run shows on the broadcast networks and Monday Night Football, isn’t the positive it seems to be either.  WWE largely realizes that hour three is the least watched of the three so main-eventing isn’t what it used to be.  Plus, Enzo’s heat is more with the fellow wrestlers.  Corbin’s was more due to one incident and I am glad they haven’t thrown him away.  With that said, no it’s not better to get heat because most of the time the push never comes after you do that.  A release does.

I was actually wondering with TV revenue that WWE gets... What is the budget for a RAW or Smackdown compared to the profit that WWE gets. They have to travel, rent the arena, hire day laborers, etc.

It’s substantial.  As I mentioned in this column on Sunday, they costs are much lower to run one show than to run a Network.  TV Revenue is by far WWE’s largest source of OIBDA.  You can google their second quarter reports and read the numbers there.

How can WWE be upset over the Bullet Club "Invasion" stunt when they did the EXACT same thing 20 years ago with the DX Invasion of WCW Nitro on national TV no less? Surely it is rank hypocrisy to get so prissy over something they set the precedent for? And with Jimmy Jacobs being fired over the photo with his old mates, it makes one wonder why anyone would want to work for such a paranoid and petty company.

As Mike reported on the site, it was about more than that.  Others apppeared on their YouTube series prior to this and faced no repercussions.  The bottom line is, you need to know where you stand in WWE and consider that when you do things like that.  What isn’t an issue for you with management, very well may be for me.
