FUNK WRESTLING AT 72, GFW AMPED, WHY INDEPENDENT COMPANIES ANNOUNCE WRESTLEMANIA WEEKEND EVENTS SO EARLY AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2017-10-05 10:00:00

Was any reason given as to why Terry Funk is again wrestling at the age of 72? Surely it couldn't be for the money. I hope he doesn't end up humiliating himself. I would hate to see all his work in the ring forgotten replaced by the sight of a 72 year old wrestler trying desperately to recapture his glory.

He loves to wrestle.  It's that simple.

Is Impact Wrestling (Anthem owned) in full possesion of the GFW Amped TV series airing now as 4 monthly One Night Only PPVs.?  Or is Jeff Jarrett the rightful owner of the GFW Amped TV series?

Unless Anthem has acquired it, technically Jarrett would be the rightful owner.  The next PPV is slated to air on 10/13, so we'll see if it does.

Why are companies announcing their Wrestlemania weekend events?  It's so early!

To make money.  A lot of the independent promotions announce their events as early as possible with the idea that the fans traveling in for the show will make their plans and pay for tickets as early as possible.  So, the sooner they announce the plans, the sooner they will get the fans to strategize where they want to go.  There is a lot of competition to get that money, because it's the biggest money making events of the year for these promotions.

Whatever happened to Aiden O'Shea?

He's still wrestling in the Chicago area as Jay Bradley.

What are the odds WWE brings back Lavar Ball for a guest appearance?

Probably the same as The Muppets returning.
