WWE released a medical update on Cesaro regarding the dental injuries that were suffered during the Raw Tag Team championship match at the WWE No Mercy PPV last night.
Although it was believed that Cesaro shattered his teeth taking a spot into the corner of the ring, it was actually something far more painful. He struck the corner so hard, he shoved his front teeth up into his gums.
“Cesaro’s teeth were pushed up into his upper jaw by about 3 to 4 millimeters,” WWE Dr. Daquino told WWE.com. “The next step is for him to see a maxillofacial surgeon today, most likely removing the teeth and then having some implants made. So hopeful we will have him up and running after Tuesday or so.”
As noted earlier, Cesaro also received three stitches in his lower lip.
