WHY KO SHOULD BEAT SHANE MCMAHON, WHAT WWE SHOULDN’T FEAR, WHY A WRESTLER SHOULD SIGN WITH IMPACT AND MORE

In today's (2017-09-18 10:00:00) Q&A, Dave mentioned that KO should win and be elevated. I agree. My concern, however, is that with the current storyline, Vince getting hurt and all, Owens winning against Shane just sends the wrong messages. Your thoughts.

I think it sends the right message, that Owens is a despicable heel who will do anything to get what he wants. Those are the kind of heels that I like, and I think also the kind that the average fan wants to see get what’s coming to them.  If he beats Shane after what he did to Vince, then the babyface who gets him next will be facing a hot heel.  I like that.

Ok, so if the rumours come true and Lucasfilm/ Disney run the Next Star Wars trailer during Monday Night Football's return, should the WWE / Vince /USA network, seriously consider either airing Raw on a different night or earlier than usual?  I can see them being seriously destroyed in the ratings, to an embarrassing low level should this indeed happen.  What would you do in this scenario?

God no, it’s a trailer.  It lasts a few minutes.  Even if it hurts WWE for the few minutes, it will be over quickly.  What you suggest would be a serious overreaction.

I seen a recent Q&A ask if certain sources are rewarded by being spoken about positively on your site as a reward. If this is true, would I be correct in saying Dave’s main sources are Baron Corbin and Roman Reigns?

A lot of people are stupid.  Someone that believes we speak positively about people like that fit that description to a T.  If you doubt that, all you need to do is go back and read our coverage of TNA management back when they were paying for advertising on the site.  You would see how foolish the question is.  My opinion is not for sale.

When a wrestler sends out tweets and other social media, especially when expressing an opinion, do they have to clear it with the authority before they send it?

They are given basic guidelines as to what they should and shouldn’t do, but they don’t clear each piece of social media with the company.

If you were a wrestler, why would you sign a deal with Impact wrestling right now?

To me, it would come down to one of two things.  I would either want to work a very limited schedule or I would have no other option.  If WWE/NXT/ROH/New Japan didn’t want me, that would leave Impact as my only real option.
