If you didn't get a chance to watch the Mae Young Finals last night, I think the 30 minute broadcast is well worth your time investment.  WWE did a great job of making it feel like an event, between the build to the Shayna Baszler vs. Kairi Sane bout and all the notable personalities who were in attendance.  The final itself, bell to bell, was a good, entertaining match.  WWE did a great job with the broadcast.

Among those in attendance at the finals were Asuka, Dana Warrior, Madusa, Beth Phoenix, Peyton Royce, Billie Kaye, Summer Rae, Mercedes Martinez, Piper Niven, Toni Storm, Ronda Rousey, Jessamyn Duke, Chelsea Rae, Nikki Bella, Charlotte Flair, Bayley, Becky Lynch, Olympian Erica Wiebe, Candice LaRae and GLOW cast members, including the former Kharma/Awesome Kong, Kia Stevens.

Interestingly, WWE did not bring Jessicka Carr in to referee the finals, which was weird, given the promotion they put behind her being the first full-time female referee hire.

In a funny story, sitting in the front row with the GLOW cast members was former WWE and TNA official Brian Wittenstein, who now works as an agent in Hollywood.  He was there working with the GLOW cast members.  Readers may remember him as the former TNA staffer who ended up sparking a lawsuit that company brought against WWE alleging contract tampering that was later dropped.

Sasha Banks was not in attendance as she was heading to New Zealand on the current Raw live events tour.

Prior to the event, Stephanie McMahon took part in a Facebook Live stream where she unveiled a special one of a kind Mae Young doll that was used on the red carpet to the event last night:
