JBL RUN OFF BY MAURO?, WHY WON'T WWE GET BEHIND SASHA, GLOW RIGHTS AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2017-09-03 10:00:00

Do you think the JBL departure is Mauro Ranallo related?

If it is, no one is ever going to admit it, especially since Ranallo publicly denied that his issues were with JBL.  It could be that at 50 years old, JBL had enough of traveling every week from Bermuda.   It could be that this was fallout of the Mauro issue.  Unless one of the parties speaks out about it, there's only going to be rumor and innuendo.  I don't think it was a case of Mauro running off JBL, but certainly all that heat on JBL could have played a role in his decision.  JBL says he wants to go and make a difference and do his charity work and I tend to believe that.

If it's up to you, who replaces JBL on Bring it to the Table?

I don't believe they confirmed there would be a replacemet, but I would put Jerry Lawler in that spot.

Why is it that WWE won't get behind Sasha Banks? While she has been a 4 times Women's Champion, just as Alexa Bliss said, Sasha Banks has yet to have a successful defense of the title, so all of her title reigns have been short lived. Does Vince still worry that she is injury prone or what?

One might argue that they have gotten behind her because she's had the championship four times since coming to the main roster.  While there have been reports of the company feeling she carries herself with too big of a chip on her shoulder, you have to remember that when they promote something like she hasn't had a successful title defense, they are setting up for the big moment where she has that defense and wins.

With the new GLOW series, I was wondering who owns the original rights to the series?

The rights to the name and video library are owned by former GLOW performer Babe the Farmer's Daughter.

Whatever happened to the director's cut of Barbed Wire City?

It's likely never going to happen.  Directors John Philapavage and Kevin Kiernan saw their film extensively bootlegged and uploaded online, creating very little profit margin, if any, for a project they worked on for a decade.  So, they moved on to their next project instead of spending more time mastering and preparing the director's cut.
