With Hurricane Harvey having brought a lot of damage to the Houston area. Will the WWE proceed with having NXT Takeover, Survivor Series, Raw and Smackdown in that area in November?
We have not heard anything in regard to WWE moving those events. Certainly it could be a possibility, but I would expect WWE to move forward with them and come up with ways to assist the community.
What were your thoughts on GFW's response regarding the AAA incident? I thought it was dismissive of the talent. Like, saying "yes, something bad happened but everyone's sorry so let's move on!" If something like this happened in WWE they would be quick with a stern rebuke about how this was one individual who does not reflect the level of care they have for their talent. Seemed like someone outside the business penned the GFW response. Ed, perhaps?
It read to me like someone there wants to book Sexy Star vs. Rosemary, which I hope is not the case. I have not heard who crafted the response but it was obviously approved. I hope they aren't looking to turn the situation into a work, because that would be rewarding Star and also slapping everyone who was legitimately upset, including people in the GFW locker room, in the face. It would also make Rosemary look as if she was perpetrating a work, which was not the case. It would be extremely exploitive and tawdry.
What is up with Alberto el Patron and GFW?
He is expected back at the Bound for Glory PPV.
What is the latest with Paige. I thought she was supposed to be back for Summerslam?
She was expected to be released to return to work by then. WWE doctors, thus far, have not given her that clearance. She is recovering from a neck surgery, so they aren't going to force her back in the ring until she is cleared.
What are the odds Adam Cole and company reveal they are in NXT because ROH sent them there?
ZERO. You have a better chance of Adam Cole vs. Godzilla headlining Wrestlemania in New Orleans.
