I have a quick question. I've been seeing response from you guys that you have no problem with Kurt Angle being used to try and elevate Jason Jordan with this "He is my son" storyline. Don't you think they should've come up with something better than illegitimate son? Heck even Kurt Angle simply endorsing Jason because he likes Jason and sees he might have a bright future would have been much better, believable and taken seriously by us.
Oh, they are two different issues. I thought that the way that they built up the angle was weak because it raised expectations for something far better than what they were going to deliver. Once it was done, I hoped it would help Jordan, that’s all.
What’s your take on Jason Jordan’s new push so far?
As I type this on Sunday, it needs a lot of work. It has been very flat so far.
Which will be the better show this weekend, NXT Takeover or SummerSlam?
I expect the work on both to be really good. I have not been disappointed by a Takeover show yet. In fact, they have all been great. So if I were forced to choose now, I will go with Takeover.
I'm really enjoying the New Day and they seem to enjoy being on Smackdown, that being said all three are very talented individual talents, do you ever think the WWE could do a NEWDAY PPV where each member has an individual title shot? I personally would like to see Kofi challenge for the WWE title as I do not believe he has ever had a one on one face off, Big E for the US title, and if the WWE website is correct, then Xavier fit's into the Cruise weight class. Your thoughts?
Mike Epsenhart and I talked about Big E possibly getting a singles push at some point on Saturday’s show, with him getting a US Title shot while Kofi and Xavier worked as a tag team. An actually show dedicated to them though? Probably not.
Do you think putting the US Title on AJ, on a house show, shows not only that anything can happen in the WWE, but also to try to get some ratings from the MLB All Start game?
I think it was more to show that it could happen at a house show. They always want to build excitement for TV.
